The Maine Prevention Calendar is for listing prevention and health promotion-related events that are statewide or regional in scope. Examples of events include trainings, lectures, conferences and other types of large scale meetings. Events sponsored by a wide variety of nonprofit organizations that may be of interest to state and community-based partners may also be included in the calendar. This includes skill trainings such as grant writing and a wide variety of organizational development topics. However, trainings offered by for-profit organizations will not be included. A community-sponsored event may be listed if the intention is to actively solicit participation from a statewide or regional audience.

If you would like to suggest an event for listing in the calendar, please complete the form below. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your submission. If you do not see your submission posted in a reasonable amount of time, please contact cheryl.cichowski@maine.gov or anne.rogers@maine.gov
